Born and raised in Richardson, Texas and now based in Nashville and signed to ACM Songwriter of the Year Hillary Lindsey’s creative venture with Concord Music Publishing (Hang Your Hat Music), Chris Lacorte built his musical skills touring with major artists like Dustin Lynch, performing in his local church, and making rounds in Nashville as a successful session guitarist. Since devoting his time to producing and writing in Nashville in 2016, has established himself as one of the top producers and writers in Nashville currently, particularly for his recent work shepherding the #1 Country album for Tucker Wetmore as both a producer and writer.
Chris’s credits are a veritable who’s who of Nashville and beyond: some major works that Chris has helped write or produce include Morgan Wallen “Ain’t That Some”, Russell Dickerson “Happen to Me”, Tucker Wetmore “Brunette”, “3,2,1”, “Casino”, “What Would You Do” (and many others), Alana Springsteen and Mitchell Tenpenny “goodbye looks good on you”, Sam Hunt “Water Under the Bridge”, “23”, “Outskirts” “Kinfolks” and others, Russell Dickerson “Bones”, Thomas Rhett “Feelin’ Country”, ERNEST “Feet Wanna Run”, Vincent Mason “Wish You Well” and many, many more. Chris’s first co-writing #1 country radio single was “Breaking Up Was Easy In the 90’s” for Sam Hunt. He also wrote and produced Sam Hunt’s following number one, “23.” Chris’ writing and production credits also include the likes of Cole Swindell, Tyler Hubbard, Keith Urban, Ashley McBryde, Jake Owen, Matt Stell, Dasha and Brett Young.
A prolific musician inspired by iconic producers outside of country music like Daniel Lanois, Chris is equally adept at writing, producing, and engineering and is passionate about helping develop artists in all genres and at all levels to help them find their true sound.
